You should see a little hole in the back that says "Reset". Take a paperclip and gently poke it in that hole and that will revert your router back to factory settings. This means that all of your custom settings will be cleared including: forwarded ports, password, ect... when your router reboots you will be able to log in. If username and password does come up default is usually username: Admin password: password. sometimes you don't need the password so try leaving it blank.
I got your issue, Inorder to reset the username and password to the default setting the only way is to reset the router , look on the router you will have a pin hole button, push that reset button for 10 -20 sec. Then you can login to the router using username 'smcadmin', password - 'admin' or 'blank'.
what you want exactly?password for what? username and password for internet in subscriber? or just WEP for wireless key password?
if you forgot the password for username and password for subscriber....theres an option,i dont know what kind of subscriber do you have in your country...if you forgot the username and passowrd you can ask in the subscriber.
regarding in the WEP password for wireless,it doesnt matter, try this..
type 192.168.1.1 in the internet toolbar
and you can see the configuration, check the wireless settings for WEP...
In the back of the WRT54G is a smal hole, labled Reset. Straighten out a paperclip, or use a toothpick, and gently press the small switch in there Hold it in for about 30 sec. Then recycle the router. Plug a machine into the ports in the back marked LAN, and power it up. This sets your router to factory defaults, and your new username should be admin, and leave the password blank.
You may have to try the reset a few time. As last restort, try holding the little button in and unplugging and plugging the router back in.
