Go to control panel / Programmes & features and remove or uninstall the previous versions of office and then reboot the computer and then try to install the office.

Hi, Toshiba has started shipping system with, office 2010. Since you have bought the system from the retailer. There are certain netbook model that are still coming with 2007.

You can call micorsoft support to get your product key to unlock the same.
Hi, You will need the recovery discs or the XP installation disc generally the recovery disc are delivered with the laptops if you do not got it then you have to buy it from Toshiba.Then you have to boot the laptop with that disc by pressing F2 at the Toshiba logo screen and selecting the cd/dvd drive as the boot device.
With that machine, the recovery disks came with it when new. You can, however, install any retail version of the operating system, and go to www.toshiba.com to download/install the required device drivers.
Is it turning off by itself after being on for 20min... each time? I.e. is it consistently turning itself off after the same amount of run time? Check the bottom of the laptop... how hot is it? Might be an over-heating problem. Some freeware (MobileMeter) might help you monitor temperatures and see if it is a problem
