Question about HP Compaq Presario V6000T Notebook
Screen stay dark, hard disk indicator does not appear to be lit up, but "blue Lights" flash and the CD drive buzzes as it tried to read it....after a few minutes it powers down. I have removed battery and put it back in. Any ideas? It is 2 years old...no prior problems...doesn't appear to "run hot" as ofhers have said.
Called HP they were ABSOLUTELY NO HELP!
Kept telling me about some Limited Warranty! They wanted to charge $250 + shipping, to replace. The machine could be replaced for that price.

Call HP technical support - I just had the same problem - It's the mother board - HP will fix it for free. They will send you a box to ship it by FEDX for free also. Absolutely N/C to you. I'm actually waiting for the box to come right now. It'l take approx. 2 wks. for you to get your lap top back.
