My moto q will not read the factory (512) memory card
I just tried using the memory card in my new moto q, but the phone does not recognize the card. The card works on other devices, but not on mine. I tried another card also in my device, and the phone will not register them either.

Okie,in this situiation you try your memory card with the other phone, still can't recognize try to format your card still can't,last solution.......change new one.Now the day memory card very cheap....;)
When I bought the phone I wanted to use a bigger Memory card. I was told it will only recognize 2gb. The booklet that comes with phone says the same thing, so would assume that is why it says full. Assuming of course youre trying to use more than 2gb at the moment.
Blast slot with compressed air, especially if you use phone without the blank in thus mentioned slot for it has no cover.
If this has no affect, than it is a hardware problem. Go to a Cingular store that has someone that knows the phone, I'd call ahead.
Check the online manual, maybe.
