Is it getting water? The inlet valve on the back of the fridge where the water line connects is a frequent source of ice maker problems. If the It sounds like you've covered the other major issues.
this sounds like a control board circuit problem..but first remove perishables and defrost freezer ..turn off or un plug..leave refr door closed..freezer door open..if you have lots of water while defrosting you almost cirtainly have froozen the evap coils solid..freezer cannot work like this..after defrost..plug in and see if temperature returns to normal..if it does it won't last indefinately..your probably have a bad defrost timer and/or evap heater gone bad
Does water in door dispenser taste bad? If not, Try arm and hammer fridge deoderizer. It will help to absorb fridge odors which may be clinging to water molecules in ice maker tray. Ice maker tray is open to freezer area.Water is very medium to infiltrate with odors. Try this first
the water line comes from the bottom back of the fridge it sound like you have a blocked line meaning you have a bad water replace valve and clean out line
You said, The ice maker in my whirlpool gold refrigerator Model No, GR2FHTXTBOO, is not working.
How old is the fridge? When have you last changed the water filter. Should be down below at the front grille! Try these tasks!
If the ice maker is not producing ice or not enough ice Refrigerator connected to a water supply and the supply shutoff valve turned on? Connect refrigerator to water supply and turn water shutoff valve fully open. • Kink in the water source line? A kink in the line can reduce water flow. Straighten the water source line. • Ice maker turned on? Make sure wire shutoff arm or switch (depending on model) is in the ON position. • New installation? Wait 24 hours after ice maker installation for ice production to begin. Wait 72 hours for full ice production. • Freezer door closed completely? Firmly close the freezer compartment door. If the freezer compartment door will not close all the way, see "The doors will not close completely." • Large amount of ice recently removed? Allow 24 hours for ice maker to produce more ice. • Ice cube jammed in the ice maker ejector arm? Remove ice from the ejector arm with a plastic utensil. • Water filter installed on the refrigerator? Remove filter and operate ice maker. If ice volume improves, then the filter may be clogged or incorrectly installed. Replace filter or reinstall it correctly. • Reverse osmosis water filtration system connected to your cold water supply? This can decrease water pressure.

This sounds like the Maytag bottom mount that has a High Voltage Control Board problem. Does this have the freezer/fridge temp. display/controls on the left hand fridge door? Whats the model number and on the manufacture tag does it something on it like Code:0304 maybe? Let me know I may have an answer I do work on these for a living.
