When ever i put my sim card in and try to sign it in it takes such long time and then it says it can't read the sim card and then it says that there is a Sidekick II Problem problem. how can i fix it??

The last SIM card inserted married the phone. You can take the phone to a local provider and they have the unlock codes to unmarry the phone from the SIM. Then you will be able to put SIM in. This doesn't happen all of the time.
So there is a master reset on the sidekick II
open the screen and push it slighly left
there is a small hole with an arrow beside it
Use a paperclip, and one touch will do!
It powered right up. 6 calls to T-Mobile and only 1 person knew this! Ugh...
If I still have a problem it is likely a new SIM card and not a new $360 phone!
Yeah, I can help. On the sidekick 08 when placing the card make sure you place the card with the cut edge facing the battery. This phone work with the sim card facing the opposite way. Hope this help:)
