The "*" "0" and "#" keys don't work on my cellphone. is there a way to fix them and how much will it cost? my phone is a samsung SGH-d600, it is two years old.

i expect that some of the digit in that particular cellphone is not working. if you want to clean your key pad then you need to open it. removed the battery cover, the battery, back cover, untill you see the 6 screws that holds the front cover. Removing the screw will automatically remove the front cover and will show you the key pad. if you want to check the digit which is not working then you fix the battery and holding it firmly press the power On button. assuming that you already know what digit is not working then you can proceed by removing the plastic cover of the keypad and by using pencil eraser you can clean it.. from 0 - 9....

Your cellphone need to be repaired through main keypad chip usually it get fixed from just Service. This also ocurs when too much carbon jam the circuit of the cellphone.
