Question about Whirlpool MH7135XE Microwave Oven
I'm hoping someone will have a pretty good idea as to what's wrong. I've read the other posts, but what led to my oven not working is a bit different.
I was using the microwave to warm a sauce, which it did at the time. I pressed the exhaust fan button since I was also using the range top and the only thing that happened was a very loud pop that made my left ear ring for about 10 minutes. The exhaust fan never came on and after that the unit stopped heating and sounds different now. The over-the-range light and exhaust fan still work, so does the turntable, but the unit no longer heats.
Thanks in advance.
The most common cause of that is a shorted or blown high voltage rectifier diode.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.
