I am on my 2nd ipod nano, apple replaced 1st one that didn't work. The 2nd one was working for a couple of months and then all of the sudden started resetting to the apple logo after a couple of songs. I went online and found out the I could reboot and it should solve some issues. I did this and now the computer or itunes does not recognize my ipod so I cannot restore. I have drained the battery and tried plugging in to computer-nothing. I have charged for 24hrs and then tried to reboot or even go in the diagnostic screen-nothing. Now it has a black screen, won't reboot to the logo, and of course the computer doesn't recognize it still, let alone itunes! HELP!!!!!!!

most likely headphone jack is broken. option one is to take it to the apple store and have them repair it. option 2 is to go on e-bay and buy a replacement jack and try to do it yourself. best option is to sell it on ebay as broken/needs repair. Someone who knows how to fix them will buy it from you and you can use the money you get to buy a good used working iPod. There are always tons of nanos for sale on ebay.
