Temp alarm went off on my Electrolux Full Fridge. Indicating 27 degrees Middle of the night Power didn't go off Door well shut. When I shut off alarm fridge seemed cold. But condensation is there.

I appreciate your inquiry, KC!

Based off what you have described your Electrolux refrigerator has condensation on the inside of it. This could be a possible issue with the door being left open or the gasket could be bad. You can check the gasket by using a dollar bill. Please the dollar bill between the refrigerator and the door. Pull the dollar bill, if it provides resistance then the gasket is good. If the bill comes out with no resistance then you may need to replace the gasket. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

GASKETS PLAY AN IMPORTANT PART IN THIS PROBLEM, DEPENDS ON HOW OLD YOUR APPLIANCE IS YOU COULD CHECK IF YOUR GASKETS ARE WORKING PROPERLY BY SETTING A SHEET OF PAPER BETWEEN THE GASKET AND FRAME AND PULLING THE PAPER OUT SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE RESISTANCE, IF PAPER SLIDES OUT WITH NO EFFORT IS A SIGN OF BAD GASKETS, THAT ALLOW MOISTURE TO GET IN AND CONDENSATE AT THE BOTTOM.

The refrigerator section does not get cold. The freezer works. Had the defrost timer replaced twice

It seems obvious that the defrost timer was not the problem. Could be a bad defrost heater, bad defrost termination thermostat, or possibly just a bad air leak, caused by a bad door gasket (check the bottom of the fresh foods door gasket) or a non-sealing ice dispenser door.

Refrigerator door does not close tight

Either the cams and shims are bad or your gasket is bad. Look at the gasket, if it looks good, then the cams and shims are bad. Call us with the model number and brand and we will ship the parts to you. Hope this does the trick for you! Ella :>)
