If your motherboard has a PCI Express slot then get an ATI 4850. Also make sure that your power supply will support high end graphics, usually 500 watts or more with at least one 6pin power cord.

I have a radeon 9200 SE AGP running windows XP, when I try to set the screen resolution to 1680 x 1050 the PC reboots.

According to the 9200 specs, 1680 x 1050 is not listed as a resolution option. It does list 1600 x 1200 The link below will show the specs for your video card.

I have intel graphics card of 128 mb. i wanna play prince of persia warrior within and other latest games but these games not support intel video card. please help me how to play such games on my pc.

dear friend

first of all, intel graphics are not graphic cards, they are on board graphics

new game require extra graphic card put on vga slot or newer ones on pci express slot

they support T&L, Cine FX, Pixel shader etc for modern game

just buy a separate graphic card and put in your m/b

and enjoy new games

thanks

2GB RAM should be about $100, the same for installation. Your current graphics card meets the specs you provided. An upgraded video card will be about $200 for one that will work, $300 for one that will work well.

Motherboard supported graphics card

go buy one. I don't mean to sound like an @ss, but really. Google Video card and your motherboard. It will tell you what you can get, and then go to futur shop or something and get one. Or buy one off E-Bay.

well, alot of factors come into play. First get an ATI 9700, ther less than hundred now, get it from a Computer store that actually has staff that know about computers, dont go to best buy or someplace like that, they only stock the better more expensive ones.

Make sure you get the right one, I.E. AGP or PCI, whichever one your PC is. The graphics card will make your P.C. run better when it comes to rendering graphics so you will see improvement on Games in the way of smoothness and detail. Picture viewing and editing will improve.

If you dont know anything about computers, or enough to get the right hardware, then find an Altek computer store or a comp USA or some kind of store that deals mostly with computers. take your whole unit and go in with it and ask a rep, say, " I need a Video card that fits this machine that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of this program. Take the program box with you also.

Be prepared for them trying to sell you more than you need, get something thats better than the minimum requirements for the program so that way your sure to not have performanc issues.
