Question about Coleman Mach 15 Air Conditioner
I have a Coleman Mach 8333B series RV AC whose fan won't start on its own, I have to give it a spin to start it. Only has two capacitors. From my research I find that one is a run capacitor (connected to the compressor) and the other is a fan capacitor. Is the fan capacitor causing this problem? Should I replace it?
This could be the problem. It is more likely that the motor bearing is bad. Take the fan capacitor and have it tested. Or replace it, (under $20). Was the fan motor loud before this happened? Hopefully it is just the capacitor, the motor runs $60 - $100 and is a FUN to replace.
