This can be a little tricky. If you haven't used any of the labels yet, simply put the address in the first label and simply print. The printer will print the address on the first label and all you have to do is remove it and put it in place. Next time you need to make another label, set up the program that you are going to use to print the label and once the "Avery 8168 Inkjet" label is on your screen just move the cursor to the second label (With Corel WordPerfect just hold the ctrl key and hit the Enter key) and print your return label. Using this procedure you can use one sheet of labels without having to print all labels at once or using a new sheet.

Always check to make sure the printer is advancing one label at a time by itself before printing. If it does then you know the printer has a good read on the label size. Then if it misaligns when printing then you know the problem is in the printer driver because the printer is only going to do what it's told to do.
So best is to turn printer off, power up, press feed to see if one label feeds ok. If the label feed is off at this point then the printer needs to be calibrated which is done by pressing and holding FEED while turning the printer on.
If you send a format and the label advances but does not print, then it is possible that the darkness setting is not high enough for the label/ribbon combination. Depending on what software / printer driver you are using, many times the darkness setting in the software or driver will override what is in the printer. This makes it possible to have the test print work just fine but no printing when a label format is sent the printer.
If you are sending a format and nothing at all happens at the printer, then that is a communication issue. How are you connecting the PC to the printer ?
The feed rollers are slipping on the surface of the label, causing the page to load incorrectly. There is no permanent solution at this time. Try one of the following workarounds to correct this issue.
Adjust the top margin using Page Setup.
Click File , then Page Setup in the program being used, (accessing Page Setup may vary from program to program. Refer to the Help file for that program).
Adjust the top margin until printing is correct on the label.
Manually print one sheet at a time.
Place one sheet of labels in the input tray at a time, printing only that page. Repeat for all pages of labels needed.
