Question about Weather King 10AJA2501AH Air Conditioner
I had a weather king condensor installed for me last year and it had gone up on me already. The sompany who installed it will not come to fix it. Do you know where I can find out where to get the replacement parts? I heard that Weather King is not in business anymore. Is that true?
I have not heard anything about them going out of business. Even if they had gone out of business, I am sure that the parts are still easily accessible. You could try your local Rheem distributer for basic information. Chances are that they will not sell to you with out some sort of license though. Some parts are generic enough to get at a hardware or grainer style retail store. It depends on what you want to replace.
FYI, Your parts warranty is still good even if the contractor doesn't want to honor it. You can always call a different contractor and have them warranty your broken parts. Since it has been a year, I would not be surprised to see a bill for the labor though. I hope this helps:)
