I was sent an apparently too large picture message a few days ago that appears to be in my inbox, but when I go to review the message by selecting "Inbox" from the Messaging menu, the phone turns itself off and on again. I can view other new text messages as they arrive, but once the new ones have been viewed, I can't go to the inbox without the phone turning on and off again. I tried using the Delete all function from the options menu, but because that picture message has never been "opened" per se, it won't delete.

Hi, please delete the unsent or sent Pictures messages stored in the Sent items of your phone in order to send more picture messages. When the phone Memory becomes full the phone cannot store anymore picture messages to send. Hence please delete the pictures messages (MMS) in the sent items of Multimedia Message Sent items.
Nokia 6303c mobile phone First problem is that Sent text messages sometimes appear in my Inbox. When I delete them another one appears. When I delete they are deleting from the Sent items as well as the Inbox. pls give me the solution for this....
Cannot expand capacity, but you must delete your SENT messages. They are taking up the room and leaving you with only a small amount of space for your inbox. Check your outbox and sent msgs and delete them.
You should first delete files in your phone gallery manually before you go to your inbox. Delete pictures, videos or something that you don't need in your phone memory. Restart your phone to refresh the system.
Hope this could help you alot Thanks..
try rebooting your phone 2 to 3 times daily and deleting text and phone calls regularly. this may help your situation. rebooting is taking off battery waiting at least 15 seconds reinstalling battery and powering on... best bet is to delete items then reboot... your problem should go away. unless of course your messages are too large to be sent than that's a totally different issue
Check and see if someone has sent you a picture message that you haven't downloaded yet. If you have one, it will tell you that you haven't opened it, and all you need to do is download it if you want that to stop. Or you could just delete the message. It's not a big problem that will mess up your phone, it's just telling you something. (:
All you need to do is, just replace those pictures....
You can do this thing in two ways:
1) If you have some picture messages in your Inbox(message), just open them and then go to options and then save that over the unwanted pic.
2) If you don't have any pic. mssg in your inbox, ask somebody else to send it on your no., and then apply the same approach!
