I have a Dell E173FP LCD, same problem to you I think, my monitor don't want to stop showing his Main menu , I had the problem since 3 months and didn't get s solution for it , some time it keeps showing the Menu,sometime not...crazy monitor.... But i have a friend that faced same prob and toldme to open the it and see inside it if there is a detached cable or anything...just don't know how to..please tell us a soultion.

Might be a loose connection, a bad cable, or a bad video card. I'd try the monitor on a different computer--even a laptop. Should give you an answer as to what's wrong. With the laptop, reboot it with the video cable attached.
This is automatically adjusting your Screen.Horizontal/vertical manual manual adjustment and Focus adjustment can Solve the Problem.Turn off auto feature.

Depends of what seems to be a problem. If you want to get rid of that message box, appearing by itself, then probably you need to take front panel PCB with buttons and replace "Auto" one, 'cause it's stuck. If you want to unlock an Auto Adjustment and other functions in your monitor, then press and hold 'Enter' button for 5 seconds.
I have a Benq that was continually auto adjusting, I used electronic cleaner spray on all the controls (a good spray) and now there is no problem, suspect the controls were sticking, especially the on/off and the auto adjust button
