What are the steps to put pictures on computer from this type Vivicam 5024

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). The ViviCam 5024 does not record any sound when in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you can't record one on the camera.

Most cameras will not display pictures taken by a different camera. This does not mean that the pictures are not there anymore, just that you can't view them on this camera.

Use a card reader to download them to your computer.

SD cards have a sliding switch along one edge. Slide it fully away from the contacts, then fully toward them. If that doesn't fix it, try a different card.

I know this isn't the answer you wanted to see, but the ViviCam 5024 does not record sound, only video (and still pictures, of course).

You would have to install a microphone in the camera, then add the circuitry to record audio along with the video :-)

You could add sound to the video on the computer, but not in the camera.

Either your lcd or the circuitary related to lcd is faulty. Please take it to a service center.

If all you need the cord for is to download your pictures, you can accomplish this easier with a card reader.
