How do I reset my owners password? I have forgotten it.. I have a Belkin Wireless N150 Usb adapter and can not remember the password.

Hello,

The password is not stored in the usb adapter. The password is for the wireless router with which you have connected your N150 wireless adapter. Please check with the router the password and then you will be able to connect to the network back again,

Thanks

what password are you referring to... if you mean the actual internet connection thru your provider you will need to contact them and provide all your details correctly that they ask for.... ask them to reset your password.... and then use that to gain access

Passphrase for belkin 3DDD USB Drive

The Passphrase will be saved in the Wireless Router ...

not the USB Adapter

IF you are using a belkin wireless router you can retrive your passphrase as follows

================================================================

WIRELESS SECURITY ISSUES

Step 1 : Connect Router - Computer ( Wired)

Step 2 : Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 3 : On the Left under wireless Click Security

Step 4 : If it asking for a password leave that blank and click submit

Step 5 : On this Page you can find the WPA Key ( If it is a bunch of dots then Uncheck "OBSCURE PSK ")

Step 6 : IF the security mode is WEP then the key 1 will be your password

Hi im having proplems linking to the internet with my wireless router, its asking for a password but i havent put any password on it. Ive tried resetting it and still having no joy.

I am actually posting a link to give you steps to this, The SSID or Network name and the wireless key is what you will need. It is usually written on the router itself.

The default settings you need to change is Admin and user, Hope this link will help you.

Hi, im trying to find out the password to my

HI,

If you have any computer hardwired to the router than click on start >> go to run >> type cmd and press enter >> type ipconfig and press enter >> this will show you an ip address, subnet mask and default gateway >> note down youe default gateway >> open an internet explorer and type the default gateway in address bar for example : 192.168.1.1 and press enter >> it will ask you for user name and password >> by default user name should be admin and password should be admin/password. >> after logging in to the router page go to wireless security and check your wireless network key.

If you fail to do this than you might have to reset your router and have to re-configure it again.

Need help with router..came with no directions for laptop hookup

goto start- run- type cmd & press enter.in the dos window type ipconfig press enter. whatever the default gateway is copy it. open internet explorer type that default gateway in address bar press enter.it will ask for user name and password.most of the time user name and password is located on the back of the router on the sticker.when you are in goto wireless settings.if you can read the security key then you can use it if not then you have to change the wireless key and connect all wireless computers again.i hope you know how to search for a wireless network and connect. hope that helps.
