Re: power charger for MDP-1810
Where the power plug, connects there should be a rating like 10v + in negative out or something. You can goto a place like radio shack and if it has a standard size it will be able to be replaced for relatively cheap.

I had the same issue with my MDP-1810 and it turned out to be a defective cord. Call mintek and they should offer a replacement for the price of shipping the cord, $5.00 is what I think it came to. Best of luck!
