Hello,
You need to check on the cable that is connecting your computer and the monitor. Usually you encounter this problem when the monitor is not getting any signal from the computer. Try other VGA cables if you have spare monitor in your area.

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LEDflashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faultyinverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. My Sharp LC-42-D62U won't power up. The power light blinks twice, then the power light and the OPC light blink together once. any fix to this problem?

Ur Tuner signal board have problems or dead.Ur power LED light indicator stable for a few mins before the power LED light,and the OPC LED light indicators flashes?After the POWER light and OPC light indicators flashes,just push the power button again for the power recycles again.Probally have to pushes the power button 3 or 4 for power light and opc light indicators flashes,the LCD backlght will lght up and work.Sharp tv have this problems alot,very common in Sharp LCD tvs.

When turned on green light flashes and no picture

Check the Lamp if no picture, audio may be present. Screen is completely dark. Lamp LED flashes 2X every 5 seconds, Power LED flashes GREEN for 140 seconds then flashes RED.
Check the ballast if no picture, audio may be present. Screen is completely dark. Lamp LED flashes 3X every 5 seconds, Power LED flashes GREEN for 140 seconds then flashes RED.

My Hitachi Model 50V500 led's ligths temperature and lamp blink when power is turn on.Have no picture or sound, followed the reconmended procedure disconnected power

They discuss a flashing power led on this site, but I believe they are referring to an led on the power supply itself. Perhaps the led on the keyboard and the led on the power supply are both flashing...
