Pls how can i flash my nokia N95

No matter what network your Nokia N95 phone currently runs on, you can unlock it---or "flash" it---to run on any GSM network. You will only be able to use your unlocked Nokia N95 phone on networks that use SIM cards---such as T-Mobile and AT&T---and not on CDMA networks such as Sprint and Verizon, which do not provide SIM cards.

Unlocking the Handset
1
Remove the back cover and the battery from your cell phone. Locate a silver sticker with a bar code on it. Take note of the 15-digit IMEI number printed on it. At this time, also remove the SIM card and write down the numbers printed on the back of it. The SIM card is the small, white data chip in the silver cradle right next to the sticker. You will need these numbers to obtain your Nokia unlock code.
2
Request a Nokia N95 unlock code from your service provider. If they cannot provide you with an unlock code, you can buy one online.
3
Replace the SIM card, battery and cover. Fully charge your handset.
4
Turn on your handset and type "#PW+".
5
Enter the unlock code given from your phone company or website. Make sure you dial the number exactly as it was given to you. If you dial this number incorrectly three times, you will be permanently locked out of your handset.
6
Dial "+1#". At this point, the screen on your Nokia N95 should read "SIM Restriction Off."

Inserting SIM Card
1
Switch your handset off and remove the back cover and battery.
2
Remove the SIM card.
3
Insert the new SIM card into the SIM card slot. Now that the phone has been unlocked, this can be a SIM card from any U.S. service provider that uses SIM cards.
4
Replace the back cover and battery and switch the cell phone on. The screen should now read the name of the new service provider

Memorycard password problem

1. Type #PW+
2. Enter your unlock code
3. Now type +1#
4. Your Nokia N95 should say “SIM Restriction Off”
Now you should have an unlocked Nokia N95 that you can use with any phone carrier or network. Just buy a SIM card for that phone carrier and order service. Of course this phone guide will only work on SIM enabled phones and not CDMA phones.

Bought nokia n95 phone without sim card in ,but now i,ve put sim card in phone shows good signal but won;t let me phone out

  • PUK means "personal unlocking key" .
The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.
You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
    for free.
In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.
The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.
If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.
Your rating is highly appreciated on this matter.

NOKIA N95 8 PROBLEMS

Try out different sim card to check phone's proper function. Because the message "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" is due to network problem or sim card problem.
Hope it works. Don't hesitate to contact me again if it doesn't solve the problem. Thanks

If the SIM card comes from a country that does NOT have a roaming agreement with the country where you are trying to use it, it won't work.
Also you may have to select a network manually. In some countries for whatever reasons Auto select won't work.

If you switch 'Cell Info Display' on your phone to 'on' it will show you when you change from one network to another.

I'm not sure about t-mobile in the US of A.
