You'll need to dis-assemble to see exactly what broke. Most of the time, it is not worth fixing since it was dropped, something else will let go in the near future. Sorry.

You'll spend less $ buy buying a new one.

It could be your aircon blower that's busted. I had the same issue with a 97 Lancer. It was the motor of the blower that was defective so I had it replaced. Never heard the rattling noise and the A/C works perfectly fine after the replacement.

HTH and good luck!

What does a burned out lamp look like

Normally if the bulb is burned out the bulb will have broken bits inside the bulb itself, AND WILL NOT LIGHT UP, and it will rattle, If the bulb doesn,t light up, as seen through the cooling vents, then replace the bulb.

Couple of problems

does the car run ok when running [or does it use more gas than usuall does it idle ok] noises coming from your intake that are loud is normally signs of an inlet valve burned . you say one brake light works the other doesn,t but the the brake light stays on all the time first of all you need to fix the brake light that is not working i presume when you say you checked the bulb on the light that is not working firstly is it the correct bulb and is it in properly as they are handed and even if it looks ok check it by replacing it with the bulb out of the other one you know that works if thats ok fine if it still doesn,t work your going to need to check that there is a live feed to it and a ground but needs this sorting first. for brake light to be on all the time it must have a live feed so the favourite is going to be a faulty brake light switch take the wires off this and see if the light goes out it should if not your going to have to check the wiring from the switch to the rear lights yates210456
