Battery is not charging hp nx 7010 - HP Compaq nx7010 Notebook

Hi,
That is a sign that your system was hit by a virus.
Scan your system with your anti virus to get rid of that problem.
Download any task manager fixer in the net, just type "Task Manager Fixer" on any search engine and download the program, unzip it afterward.

Your problem hit me also last year and I downloaded some task fixer for free.

The Olympus Stylus 7010 has a rechargeable lithium ion battery that will eventually wear out-- your battery could be at the point where it does not hold a charge any longer.
Have you previously noticed a degradation in battery life? If so, you can try replacing the battery or connecting the camera to a constant power source (like an AC adapter) to troubleshoot.

Try to plug it into your computer using the usb cable and turn it on from there. If it doesnt work, fully charge the battery and try inserting it again after an hour.

I will tell you how I did it for the same price you were going to charge me for a solution. To ask how I did it once I found a solution without a fee goes against your business model.

Have you had previous problems with your laptop power supply and battery? I have this same laptop and use it very regularly. I do have problems with battery life, but never actually powering on. I suspect the battery is not accepting a charge. My suggestion is to replace the battery and see how things go.

Sorry to dissappoint You mate, but NX7010 has no built-in microphone... VERY illogical design, for its time, but it's the sad truth. Buy an external one, plug it in and You shall see, that the sliders and tickers are suddenly working.

Damaged battery or internal circuit problem it is hard to to say. Bring your laptop to a repair shop. They can check the battery and tell you what the problem is.

you would atleast be able to access the bios if it was just the hard drive issue.

If you are running just off the battery try running with your power supply on it and see if that does anything else

if not you may have a short in the power supply some where.

go to BIOS setup then press the left arrow keys 2x then press down arrow key2x. then press enter key. you can select the language there.
