Can't Scan with MX310 hooked up to Time Capsule

I have my MX 310 Hooked up to my Apple Time Capsule and I cannot use the Scan function with the Navigator Software. It says that Scanner cannot connect with the machine.

I can print from my Mac with this setup, is there a problem with scanning? How can I Select Source?

Please help!

Guest is totally 100% correct. you cant scan wirelessly, cause it wont know where to send your copies to. you have to HARDWIRE to scan.

If you mean you connected it to the airport, that only supporting printing, not scanning. Have to plug it into the computer.

I am trying to hook up a Canon MX 310 to my MAC and tried to download the driver and end up with an error message. Failed many times and just can't figure it out...can you help?

Depending on which Mac OS you are running you shouldn't need to download a driver - most Canon printers are included in the Apple software from X10.5

Does canon pixma mx 310 work faxing page up or page down?

When using the ADF load the document with the side you want to copy, fax or scan facing UP in the ADF.

When using the platen glass load the document with the side to be copied, faxed or scanned facing DOWN on the platen glass.
