Can the EMU 1212m work with the EMU 1820m Audiodock?

If I remember correctly you'll have to choose between the 1212-board and the 1820m-dock. The internal 1212-board is not needed if you have an 1820 and, as the line inputs/outputs on the 1212 appears as DockA/B and line 1 R/L on the 1820.

replace the mlan cable provided with a short length cat5 cable - this sorted out my problem.
The noise damping rings on the mlan where too much - the cat 5 cale is fine just keep it away from sources of noise such as high voltage cables, fans etc.

I need em 8810 sound card driver.can you help me?

try looking for the drivers for the, say, Emu 1212m PCI on the EMU site. The 12112m sound system consisted of an em8810 PCI card and an em8820 interface card as a set. They don't list drivers for the 8810 but they do for the 1212m sound system and those will work fine. They have beta Win 7 drivers but if you can find them, the Vista drivers work fine and in 64 bit as well.

I work with windows 7 and i need a driver for the sound card

This is a link to E-Mu for info for the 1212M sound card. Unfortunately Win 7 is not listed. Does Win 7 offer running a program/drivers in compatibility mode? Just a thought.

No lights on dock, dock doesn't start

Replace the Mlan cable supplied with the EMU 1820M with a regular short length CAT 5 Network Cable - It is an unresolved power issue - this sorted my problem out.
Just remember to keep it away from sources of electrical interference.

EMU 1212m clicks in audio

Note that there are new drivers that can be found on http://www.emu.com and that some E-MU products need to be grounded, like my E-MU 1616m, check also the ASIO drivers settings,
setting in them the milliseconds to low wil also
cause audio stutter.

I have a behringer ub1832fx pro mixer. i also have an emu 1212m soundcard. how do i connect this to my computer and record using my DAW and keyboard. thanks

You first need to make sure the 1212m is installed properly in windows. When you load your DAW (Sonar, Cubase etc) you should go to preferences and make sure that the 1212m is selected for input and output audio.

The 1212m only has 2 physical input and outputs, so you will be able to record and play back in stereo, but if you want to record or play back 8 channels at a time you will need a seperate analogue to digital converter, like the Behringer ADA800.
