When I use any IM I am unable to see any of the messages typed from myself or the other person. Also, when I try to login to any email or myspace, when I click on login or hit enter it doesn't do anything. Please help!

It is unfortunate that you are unable to login to Facebook after resetting the computer. Try using other browsers like chrome, Firefox or IE and see if it helps. Check if there is an issue to login to other websites and also let me know the error message that appears. Then I can check and see what can be done.
Wow, another person locked out. LOL. Ok which password? The Bios Password? The Hard Drive Password? The Windows User Account Login Password? And for which Operating System?
If it's the hard drive password you're out of luck because that is set to keep thieves from gaining access to sensitive data. 99% of the time when you see a laptop where the user does not know the hard drive password, it's a stolen laptop. The Bios Password and the Windows User Account Login Password can be cracked or allow you into the system, however if you're running Windows 7 and you forgot the Windows User Account Login Password, you will need the Password Reset Disk otherwise you'll have to reload your operating system.
You must be getting an error message that says, "Unable to connect to logon profile". It gave me this impression because you said you were able to logon through safe mode. Now, while you are in safe mode, follow these steps below.
Click on Start.
Type in System Restore.
Select the date when you think the computer has worked perfectly fine.
Try booting the computer into "Safe Mode" by pressing the F8 key at startup and see if it will continue with the login process. If not try performing a "Repair Installation" with your Windows Install disc to repair any corrupted system files that may be keeping you from logging in.
Hope this helps. Don't forget to leave feedback. Thank you.
Download Yahoo Messenger (www.yahoo.com) . Create a free ID on yahoo as ask the other person to do the same. Install Yahoo Messenger and Login using your ID and start IM conversation. You will get a webcam button on the IM (instant Messenger) window . Click on that and the other person will see you and vice versa. This is just one way, there are other messengers too and gmail too offers video conversation in its mail. So enjoy
Open AIM then click setup then live video
Then "Audio and Video Tuning Wizard" opens.
Be sure to enter the right camera. If no camera shows up, your camera is not properly connected or configured.
Here you will see a video window with your camera in action.
Enter the right microphone. Some cameras have a microphone built in. Some other cameras need a separate microphone. In this case be sure that your mike is properly connected.
Select your speakers and be sure they work properly.
Next "Click to Test Speakers"
Adjust the speaker volume as needed.
Click > Next Make a mike test and observe the volume bars moving to the right. Adjust the mike sensitivity so you have a good meter movement when speaking normally without peaking to yellow or red.
Click Next Click Finish Close the "IM Preferences" Window by clicking OK.
Close the "Instant Message" Window.
Your SETUP is complete.
On the "Buddies List" click the SCREEN NAME of a user you wish to chat with.
The "Instant Message" window opens. Here you also have a type interface and you might check if your buddy is ready to receive your video chat invitation.
Click the Camera Icon. You are ready to chat. Your buddy still has to accept your invitation.
