Make sure that the driver is made for vista, most of the XP drivers wont work. Try searching the manufacturers website for an updated driver that is compatible with Vista.

My Dynex wireless mouse doesn't work? am I supposed to install any drivers? Im using Hp laptop dv4-1435dx with vista home premium

There is a Dynex software suite that comes on a disk with the mouse -- this suite provides the mouse's driver as well as additional functionality such as changing button properties. You can download the driver from DynexProducts.com (be sure to get the right one for your specific mouse and operating system).

I would like a driver for my sakar wireless optical mouse; i have a mac ibook... it does work fine, but i still would like a set of drivers.

In many cases the manufacturer builds these types of mouse assuming the user intends to use them on more modern operating systems like Win 7, MacOS 10.4, Vista, and the more up-to-date versions of lInux. In other words the operating system itself is supposed to be able to detect and operate the mouse with the wireless USB capabilities built into the operating system.
However if you want a direct interpretation of Sakar policies, I suggest you visit their support website at http://www.sakar.com/search.aspx?type=sc and type in ' mouse ' at the ' keyword or phrase ' prompt

What is best wireless mouse for Dell Inspiron 9400

You can pretty much use any wireless mouse. There is really no right or wrong just make sure drivers that come with the mouse support your Operating System and every mouse whether online or in store will tell you which OS do they support. Most newer ones will support XP,Vista and Windows 7. You can get them at Walmart, Targer, Best Buy or any other PC store. Hope this helps.

Bought a logitech wireless mouse..cannot get it to work...need drivers ..I have 32-bit vista....serial no of mouse is M-RBS136

If you go to logitech.com/support and type in the type of mouse you have they will give you downloads so you can choose the vista 32 bit software. Its nice software and the mouse should run fine.

Computer will not start after hooking up mouse

Try disconnecting the mouse and start again, I suspect a driver issue but with windows Vista that should not happen. But remove the mouse boot up, and try installing the drivers for the mouse before you connect it the the computer. This is a unusual case since Vista normal would detect the drivers automatically for you. Give me more info on this problem.

How can I get an upgrade for my wireless mouse?

If your mouse manufacturer does not supply a driver for Vista you are pretty much out of luck for now. Vista is radically different from previous Windows operating systems and some hardware manufacturers are having a hard time adapting to it. If you have to have the mouse I would suggest you switch back to Windows XP till working drivers are released.
