Canon Powershot A610

By radu1905 on Jul 02, 2008

Hello,

My Canon A610 is not focusing anymore. Seems the sensor is dead or can't see anything. Otherwise I can play pictures from card but it doesn't take any picture because there is no signal from the sensor. Can be fixed?
Thank you very much.

Kind regards,
Radu

The CCD ribbon cable probably came loose, you will probably have to send it to Canon, This happened to my A70, and there was a recall on the CCD design, they replaced it for free, they might do the same for you.
