Check there is nothing inside the printer dock blocking the paper from being fed properly, after scrutinising my friends canon i eventually found a chip (yes a potato chip) blocking inside lol!

I have a stupid question where the heck do Iload the paper in my Lexmark X2350 printer??

Facing towards front of the printer, on the back of it you have raiser - paper support panel, with side slider on the left hand, push slider towards left in full.

Paper accepted by this printer is all standard grades, like A4, L4 and fall in these dimensions:

width min/max - 76mm to 216mm (3" to 8.5")
lenght min/max - 127mm to 432mm (5" to 17")

Printer will accept paper weight between 60g and 180g, that meant that all standard weight of paper including cardstock will be accepted, printer as well will print photo and envelopes.

• The paper is loaded against the right side of the paper support.
• The paper guide rests against the left edge of the paper.

1. Put paper long way vertical on raiser (paper support), about 80 to 100 pages of standard paper will fit there (depends on thisckness),
2. Push paper against right side
3. Adjust width with left hand slider. Do not buckle the paper!

After print paper is ejected at front bottom slot, printer side up. if you use photpaper or gloss paper, remove it immediatelly as need longer drying time and will get smudget by next printsheet.

You can find information with pictures in your manual on page 13/14.

Hope this will help you print beautiful pictures!

Flashing lights on printer

The iP4300 manual says this for 10 flashes "
The size of paper may not be compatible with automatic duplex printing. The sizes of media suitable for auto duplex printing are A4, Letter, A5, and 5" x 7". Make sure that the size of the paper loaded in the printer is correct. Pressing the RESUME/CANCEL button will eject the paper and restart printing from the front side of the next paper. The reverse side of the ejected sheet will not be printed." Hope this helps

My mp830 prints and scans fine, but it won't scan dual side. it scans the first side, then starts to pull the paper back the other way, but it only goes a little ways (1-3") then the paper stops, like it...

Close the inner cover, and press the OK
button to clear the error. The paper being
printed at error occurrence will be ejected
without printing the remaining data for the
ejected paper, then printing will resume from
the next page.

When the printer starts take accept the paper for printing, the paper goes towards one side, which jams the printer and crumples the paper. can this problem be fixed or will i need a new one? thanks

first of all clean very well the pick up, then adjust the paper correctly, if doesn't work yet take a look under the printer, by pick ups side, may have a little piece to adjust the paper when it were pull, check if it is ok and if it has a spring.

My printer won't use regular paper

If there is nothing extra inside, like paper clips, candy, push pins, the roller that feeds the paper may be broken. Feel the rubber roller in the back that pulls paper in, if it flops up and down at all the end may be broken off and a dealer would need to replace it. Look real close with a flashlight and small mirror and see if something has fallen in where the paper goes.

pls check the ff:

- leading edge of your paper, must be straight
- clean the feed rollers, w moistened cloth, maybe dirty thats why it is slipping

Lexmark 642 printer on network will not print to tray three. When anything is sent to tray 3 it goes to tray 2 even though we set it up in our application to trigger $C(27)_?&15H?

I have found that if the print job needs a certain paper size and the tray is reporting a different size loaded into it then the job will pull from the next tray with an acceptable size. Lexmark's paper stops in the trays are easily moved by the wieght of paper loaded in it. If the job requires "Letter" checnk the size tabs on the left side of the tray, they are on the outside of the tray. For "Letter" just the buttom 2 tabs should be sticking out, adjust the green back stop until just the bottom 2 tabs are sticking out and try your print job again.
