Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

you will find your solution in ---->start--->control panel---system &security-->administrative tools -->services then scroll down and look at each service and see if there is a service that is disabled in there and enable it if you cannot enable it or cannot get to your sites again go to the next disabled service but be sure to diable the previouse one then when you do find the service you are looking for then set it to auto start on system boot .

Why it is hard for me to view a file from the net.... the note from my pc is: this copy of windows did not pass genuine windows validation.. what should i do? my unit is hp pavilion dv1000

You need to turn off Windows updates. For this go to the Control Panel--->Windows Updates and select Turn off windows updates. If the problem still there, take the backup of your documents and desktop in a mass storage or another drive of your computer and install a new copy of Windows and after finishing installation of Windows first turn off Windows Updates.

My dell inspirion 530S is continuously configuring updates.

There are a couple of things you can try. Firstly go to start and run and type services.msc and a box will appear. In here look for Automatic Updated and right click and chose Stop.

Also you could go into control panel (start -> settings -> control panel) and double click automatic updates and select turn off.

The first method may restart when you next restart the computer but if you have turned them off with the second method this should be ok.

Let me know how you get on and please rate my response.

Thank you

go to run dialog and type services.msc and select the Automatic Updates (Windows XP) and right click and select the start option.

In Vista got to services.msc and start the windows update service.

After starting the service select the same service and Right clich on that service and select properties in general tab select the startup type as automatic. and click ok on properties dialog.

The control panel has no security center in it.

I guess you have turned off the security center in the system.
Not to worry. You can get it back by performing these simple steps:
Click Start.
In that, select Run.
Type Services.
Click on Ok.
Now you get a services dialog box.
Scroll down to the Security Center option
Check the status. It must have been turned off.
Double click on Security center. A dialog box will open up.
You will have 4 tabs namely General, Logon, Recovery, Dependencies.
Choose General
Choose Startup Type, and change it to Automatic.
Change the Service Status to Start.
Apply .
OK.
Now go back to control panel. You will see the Security Center Option.

Good luck !!!

Alternatively you can do windows update manually (Note that the above patch solution and the following windows update solution works only on PC/computer running genuine Windows and not pirated versions):
  • Go to the start menu
  • Right click “My computer”
  • Click “properties” then the “automatic updates” tab
  • Choose “turn off automatic updates”
  • Restart your computer
  • Go back to start menu and in all programs go to “windows update” you have to be connected to the internet
  • Manually update windows
  • Turn your automatic updates back on
You can also try the following solutions to fix this error:

Solution 2:
  • Go to Run and type regedit
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SYSTEM >> CurrentControlSet >> Services >> Browser >> Parameter
  • look for the key IsDomainMaster
  • Set its value to False
  • Restart the computer
