Re: to speed the computer
Upgrade your RAM memory ..........(better not to use different frequency RAMS this decreases the performance) refer to your motherboard manual for this...... install the good antivirus & always keep the virus away ....
so by this you can speed up your pc...
if you are using the windows xp then increase the virtual memory ... you make the virtual memory double of your RAM size ... you can do that by going to control panel>system>advanced>advanced>virtual memory settings> increase the size of the virtual memory for the drive where the OS is installed ....
any doubts reply me

If you mean how to increase the UPS capacity so you can run more equipment or for a longer time when the power goes out, you can't. You would need to purchase a larger UPS. The unit capacity is determined by the size of its storage batteries and the ratings of the electronics in its inverter circuit. Without redesigning the unit and replacing parts you can't make it give you more than its design. This is why there is such a range of UPS sizes available, and why the larger ones are more expensive.
Another solution is to download and install Microsoft Virtual PC in XP, create a Virtual PC drive, and install Windows 98 onto the Virtual PC drive. This works fine if you want to run Win 9X programs which don't require access to USB ports on your computer. If you need Windows 98 to have full access to all of the computer hardware, then use palaboy's solution.
Hello my name is Tim, It sounds like you may need to reinstall the drivers and get your pc to locate the drives, you can usually get these drivers from the manfacturers website or from download.com for free, if you have the install disks for the dvd burner and cd rom you can use another pc to load them onto a usb drive and then transfer them to your pc that way. You can also go to controll panel, then device manager, and try to locate it there to see if it needs any drivers. I hope this heled you, please feel free to ask more questions and I will try to help.
it is probably speed regulated, high temp speeds up fan. then low speed or off when not hot.if it does not run at all, fan or sensor defective. hope this helps you, good luck! glen. and it would be ok if it did run all the time, as it is better than not at all.
you need to run the disk clean up in order to speed up your system, you also need to run a registry cleaner to speed up from booting, you can also upgrade the ram memory to speed up. you can also need to to run the defragmentation at least weekly. these are the solutions you need to speed up your system, you can choose either one of them
You can increase the capacity of the batteries from the original equipment, but you cannot put more load onto the UPS. Your runtime may be increased, but you may have trouble fitting the car batteries into the case. Some UPS's have external connectors for external battery packs. Find one of those and add the batteries to it. Make sure that you maintain the DC voltage which the UPS requires. It may be 12 volts or 24volts. Two 12 volt batteries in Series.
