Question about Canon LaserClass 2060P Plain Paper Fax
The above message appeared after a manager took out the toner to get the FX number on the bottom. I have referenced the manual on line and re-inserted the toner several times as to be certain it is in correctly. I have also opened and closed the front cover repeatedly to insure it is closed. I unplugged 3 times. The message is still there and the fax machine will not operate. I have several important documents stored in memory - can you offer any suggestions?
Thank you soooo much....Christine
If you open the front cover, there is a little white sensor you can see through a slot to the left. this is the sensor for the cover, i just fixed a machine where that little sensor was stuck down to the cover wasn't pushing it in correctly.
