Check on Ebay, there are several vendors that sell individual keys and retainers. You may also check the price for a new keyboard, sometimes you can get the whole thing at a decent price and you will have your old one for parts. Ebay is where I get all my keyboards and keyboard parts for my customers.

Well somtimes buttons break off of tv's because that they are old so its not worth fixing an old tv
now a days most people just buy a new one then instead of fixing the old one. Or you could find someone that fixes old tv's too. To find an old tv like the phiilps one we used to have you would probally need to go to an antique store or and a pawn shop or a secondhand store or a garage sale then. Or the dump because sometimes people put things in the dump like CRT tv's to get rid of them then.

restart your compter
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
or you might try
During the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things
working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer
hope this helps:

Yamaha PSR 510 -- one of the white keys broke out. Need HELP!

I figured it out. Once the whole 61-key section is unscrewed (I believe its just one screw at the end and it simply lifts off) you have to take a flat head screwdriver and stick it in the top edge of the key rows and twist to force the little tabs out of the slots. Be careful because this is not easy and some of the little tabs might break off - it may not be crucial for the keys to snap back in, though. The first few black keys and the tab above are all one solid piece of plastic. All of the keys are grouped in groups of 3-5 or so as one piece. White keys are layered under the black keys so you must release black key groups to access the white key groups. Once you have forced a key group lose from its snap attachment you must also free the keys from underneath to fully lift the keys off the unit. You have to BREAK the hook shapes found on the underside of the keys (they rest up against the orange rubber lining.) Take wire cutters and snap off all the tips in the key group you wish to remove. Depress a key and watch the movement underneath if you have trouble seeing what I'm talking about - you will see the hooks - think of it as the bottom of the key because that is what it is. The piece you break off should be very small - just enough to remove the hook shape enabling you to lift the keys right out. This will not cause the keyboard to be unusable. It will only make it possible to bend the key up once everything is reassembled. It is the only way I see to free the keys and gain access to the action underneath. As for that...

The action underneath is made up of a pair of rubber cups that when pushed make contact with metal sensors. These rubber cups can tear causing them to fail to pop back up to rest position. I am trying crazy glue to see if this will repair the tear. If not then I will try double-sided tape so that the plastic key will pull the rubber cup back up with it (I hope) when released. Good luck. It is a great keyboard. Very sad to see it discontinued.

This is regarding the Yamaha PSR-510.

0 and - keys fell out!!!!

hey
This could be a little difficult to explain.. coz the white ring acts as a spring and putting it back on is not hard but difficult to explain.

See first of all on an acer laptop a key has 3 components
the key
the white thing (which holds the key in place)
and a black soft thingy (which actually gets pressed wen u press a button and acts like a spring)
first of all the white ring can be removed and refixed easily .
Youll see 4 small hook like structures on the palce where key needs to be placed ... first place the white ring over there, the white ring has 2 things which come into one another. (try referring to the key where in the white ring is still in place).
now if the black spring like thingy is removed from its place, place it in the center of the ring and put the key on, try moving the key a little, if the key and white ring are put correctly, this will produce a click like sound showing the key is locked by the white ring .. if the white ring is dismantled into 2 parts it could be a little tricky to put them back on.. in that case i guess ull have to check a fixed ring and try and replicate the same for this key

Glass or something behid the screen broke

Misha, I have bad news for you.

There is only one part behind that screen to break - a rather large mirror.

To verify:

Lay the TV down, face down, on a towel.
Remove the screw from the upper rar black plastic housing.
Lift straight off - you should see the mirror, or what is left of it, attached to the black plastic.

Sorry for your loss.

If you are interested in selling the ballast, let me know.
