Bluetooth problem My aspire 5570 can not finish pairing with a bluetooth device (mobile)

Connecting your Bluetooth wireless phone with your laptop is called pairing, and I'll use a Blackberry Curve to show you how it works. I'm assuming your laptop comes with a built-in Bluetooth adapter (or you can also get a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into one of your USB ports).
First make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. For Blackberry phones, that means selecting the "Set Up Bluetooth" application from the main screen, and then selecting "Enable Bluetooth" after clicking the menu button.
Next, set up your computer to allow Bluetooth connections. If your computer comes with Bluetooth, then you'll see a Bluetooth icon in your Control Panel (Start button -> Control Panel from Vista):
Double-click the Bluetooth icon and you'll see a Bluetooth Devices dialog. Click the Options tab and make sure the options to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" and "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer" are both checked
Next, click the Devices tab and then click the "Add" button. This will open the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard, and after verifying that your device is set up and ready to be found (ie. Bluetooth has been enabled on your wireless phone) it will try to find your phone.
Select the Bluetooth device and click Next to set up a passkey, which is a number that associates your computer with a Bluetooth enabled device. For security reasons, most Bluetooth enabled devices (with some exceptions, such as mice) require you to use a passkey. Using a passkey helps ensure that your computer is connecting to the device that you intended and not someone else's device that is nearby.
You can choose your own passkey or let Windows choose one for you. Click Next and then pick up your phone, which will prompt you to enter in the passkey. After entering the passkey in your phone, Windows will finish the pairing process and your phone will be connected via Bluetooth.

ON the bluetooth option in notebook and mobile with bluetooth visibility 'show all' after installing the respective mobile software and drivers.In notebook, pair the mobile by adding the device in bluetooth menu "Add device".

Open your computer's Control Panel center to access your Bluetooth Device settings. Click on the Windows icon or the "Start" icon on your computer desktop's taskbar at the bottom of the screen. When the pop-up menu opens, click on the "Control Panel" link.

Step 2 Access your Bluetooth Device settings. When the Control Panel opens, click on the settings link that reads, "Bluetooth Devices." This link will display all of the possible actions and settings you can take regarding your laptop's Bluetooth technology.

Step 3 Configure your laptop's Bluetooth technology. Select the "Start the Bluetooth Device" action. The blue and white Bluetooth icon will appear in the Windows System tray within the computer desktop's taskbar.

Step 4 Network with another device in order to import and export files. Double-click on the blue and white Bluetooth icon on your computer desktop's taskbar. A Bluetooth dialog window will appear on your screen displaying your Bluetooth technology portal. Click on the "Add Devices" action. You will then be asked if your laptop would like to search for other compatible devices. Click "Next" to proceed. You will be prompted to choose a passkey for the pairing. Create a simple passkey and click on the "Pair" option. When the notification is received by the other device, enter the same passkey to pair the device to your laptop.

I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.

My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.

Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help

You can use the Bluetooth already in the laptop. You do not need a dongle to do the same. All that you need to do is pair the notebook and your bluetooth enabled device like your cellphone to be able to Transfer files.

If you have buy new bluetooh device it should have come with a cd.Use it to install drivers and also software.If not connect the device and use www.update.microsoft.com and it will find the drivers for your bluetooth device.

please refer to pairing bluetooth devices. you,ll need to get the computer to scan/search for the required device, or pair to the device. this usually involves, using the vol up/down buttons or on/off of the receiving device, while the computers bluetooth scans for a signal.

I am having ACer 5500 Lapto Computer. I format my system and i installed XP professional. i installed all the driver softwares but the bluetooth device is not detecting, it show there is no bluetooth device check the device. How should i rectify the problem please help me. 5500 is consists internal Bluetooth.
