Question about Sony TAM-100 Digital Answering Machine
The link below is to the manual. scroll down to the bottom of the 2nd column to find "selecting the answering mode." there is a chart with the possible modes at the top of the next column. i personally couldn't get this to work on the current machine i use for whatever reason, but it did work on the one i used to have. maybe cutting the power and setting up the machine again would do it, or maybe you could just throw it out the window. answering machines are so 90's anyway; you can probably set up voice mail through your landline if you have to.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
