Begin the transfer. With the caller on the line, press the "Transfer" key. The caller will automatically be placed on hold and you will hear a dial tone.
Connect the caller to the other party. Dial the extension of the party you wish to reach. When you hear the extension ring or after you've announced the caller, complete the transfer by pressing "Transfer" a second time. If the person does not wish to receive the call, press "Release" to disconnect from the dialed extension. Press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator where the various lines are displayed to return to the caller.
Cancel an incomplete transfer. If you make an error when dialing and need to retrieve the caller, simply press the key beside the flashing arrow on the LCD indicator.
Park an incoming call. Parking a call at a designated extension allows the recipient to answer the call from any phone in the facility. With the caller on the line, press the "Park" key twice. If your system designates a particular extension for parked calls, the caller will be held at that extension. Otherwise, the caller is held at your extension. To specify an extension for a parked call, press "Park," dial the desired extension and press "Park" a second time. Replace the handset.
Retrieve a parked call. On any system phone, press "Park" and dial the extension on which the call is parked. You will be connected to the caller.
Not sure about the Hymax, but most all PBX call transfer switching works via a switchook flash and then when you get ther second dial tone you dial the extension. When the transfer party answers you either hang up or flash the switchook and have a three way conversation.
Unless your phone is connected to a TAW-848 or higher, your extensions are numbered 101-124 maximum, or 21-36. Try going to any phone but the main one and dialing either 101 or 0 and look at the display. You'll figure out your 3-digit extensions. Now just press TRANSFER and dial that 3-digit number. The outside call is put on hold when you press transfer, so there's no need to use the HOLD button.
As an alternative, you can press HOLD, putting the outside line on hold, and dial the 3-digit number into the intercom dial tone and announce the call for line number x. Or, dial the page code 330 and announce to all phones for the person to pick up line x.
A 773x phone has 24 buttons, 12 are lighted and 12 are Feature. If you want to reassign some of the lighted buttons as extension buttons on the phone, you can press PROGRAM 1 + ext no STORE and that will give you a busy indication whenever that extension is off hook.
You can program the right side buttons to speed dial the extensions by just pressing PROGRAM ext no STORE. It will dial the extension when you press it if you have intercom dial tone.
How the button behaves is dependent on which system the phone is attached to. In a TA, you have to start with dial tone on the intercom. In a TAW/TDA you don't.
Panasonic KX-TG1050N Cordless Phone. Base handset (No. 1, KX-TGA100N) does not work, no keypad response or dial tone. The extensions start at 10 , and if you press the speaker button and hold it for a second or two it will show the extension number in the LCD display . If you do not have any phones with a display you have to find it by pressing the intercom button and try dialing the extensions one by one .
