Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I'm trying to install a HP Scanner 2300C on my system (Windows 98) and the install software hangs up looking for MSSOAP1.dll. It is not on my system and I think I may have deleted it at one time thinking it was some extraneous application. I'm finding that MSSOAP supports Simple Object Access Protocol, and most likely is required by the installation. However, when I look up the DLL on the Microsoft web-site, it indicates only XP as the operating system. Thus I'm wondering if it were really part of Windows 98 AND if it is, how do I get it back on my computer? Simply "re-install" Windows 98 or something else? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. hp scanjet 2300c istall problem
