I have a Samsung HLN507WX with sound and No Picture
Just replace the power board and everything was fine for about 4 hours. Then a click noise and the picture went out. I could hear the sound clearly. I tried using the remote to turn the TV off and it was no use. I tried changing the channel with the remote successfully but still no picture. I tried turning the TV off from the side of the TV and that was unsuccessful. The whole time I could hear the spinning of the color wheel just fine but saw no light from the lamp. After some time I just unplugged the TV. Now it wont come back on

Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
This tv 100% have power supply board problems and might also have the T-CON decoders board problems too.The power supply board, that the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.The T-CON decoders board, that the board sit wright in the middle bottom of the LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.Replaced the power supply board, should get ur tv power up right away and work,no more series of clickings noises. But,if the tv still have alots colored pixels lines on the screen. The T-CON decoders board it also dead.Replaced the T-CON decoders board too.
Nobody could guess that! it depends on where you are in the world. For Instance I am in australia network. Call outs generally run to $AUD90 and $90 and hour Min 1 hour. You do not say whethyer the power light lights up so its again guesswork. If the power light IS lit then there is power from the wall to the primary coil of the power transformer. I would then suspect either the secondary transformer has failed, or that a fuse after the secondary and pre picture/sound module has blown. The power supply ( cant by bits) costs around $200. The fuse 0.60 add to the callout fees and you get some idea of the cost can cost half the value if a $1000 TV The plasma screen hasnt gone so that's always a plus and its rare for the video board and sound module to fail simultaneously. So my bet is the poer supply side and fuse
Faulty parts on PS board, bad press for Samsung Because the Samsung LNS4051D would not turn on and the power LED would blink 4 times and the relay would click and this would repeat again and again.I replaced power supply board parts CM806, 811, 812 & 817, all 1000 uf 10v capacitors, three had their tops bulged up slightly that I missed on initial visual inspection. After seeing the reports of problems with these caps on http://www.fixya.com/support/t1336881-will_not_turn_or_off , I replaced them with Radio Shack part 272-1032, 1000 uf, 35v.They are slightly bigger, but fit OK.TV is working fine now.Cost was 4 x $1.59 = $6.36 plus the time. I saved between $100 to 300 in the process of either replacing the board or getting the unit serviced.
