Question about PC Desktops

Recently installed i-Tunes and ion USB Turntable with EZ Vinyl software but now pc has no sound in any software program. I get a message on start up saying CTSysVol.exe is experiencing a problem and has to close. System restore to point prior to installation has not helped. Any ideas on how to resolve?

Have you tried uninstalling both programs and rebooting system?

You may also want to remove your soundcard driver and reinstall it

On windows got to "START"
Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices.

Audio tab select sound card as Sound playback default device

Voice tab select sound playback default device

Open Skype got to tools/options/audio settings.Select USB device under Microphone and speakers section.

Save all settings. Works well.

To determine if the turntable or your CPU is the problem, plug the turntable into a different CPU to see if the system is found. If not found, the turntable is faulty.

My Acer Aspire 3680 is extremely slow, breaking up, giving error messages. Started yesterday but has gotten continually worse since then.


Have you installed any new programs recently?
Definitely sounds like spy-ware or a virus, check your system out. If you don't have anti-virus software installed, go here:http://shop.trendmicro.com/trialpay/
and run the anti-virus scan. I'm guessing you've got an infectected PC. A message regarding bluetooth peripherial device on laptop.


this is caused by a piece of hardware.the program needed to install it is missing.if you have recently added a blutooth device try to find the device driver files for it.the original cd or the website will contain these.

Usb turntable


XP try this.go to Control Panel->Sound and Audio Devices -> select "Audio" tab at top-> select the drop down list for default device and pick the usb turnrtable device as the default device. Select ok.

Computer keeps freezing up and often gives me a message that says microsoft not responding


Did you install software recently? Did you add on any hardware? You might need to unistall whatever you installed and/or remove whatever hardware you added.

How much memory you have? How many start up programs you have running in the background. There could be numerous things going on that would give you freezing and non response.

I had a similar problem recently... You have to actually install the scanner software. You probably only installed the print drivers, but not the scanner software. If you don't have the CD handy, go to www.hp.com/#Support. In step one select "Download drivers and software (and firmware)". In step 2 enter your model number (photosmart C4385) and then press "go". It will lead you to a page to select your operating system. Follow that link to download the entire CD (large file).

When you are installing the software, make sure to install the scanner software too.

PC will not download software


1 st of all scan ur pc for virus....if u get any virus properly nuterlize it ...i recoment avg 7.5 anti virus..

 

if it doesnot work ...then re install ur window..

 

i m sure ur problem wll be solved...
