Question about Medion MD 40812 Notebook
I am at a loss with this one!-My battery(ms 2111)seems to loose charge after about 20mins unplugged. I have checked my m/c out (as far as I can) & everything else seems ok.Charging light-on--fan running,--time left monitor--etc seem ok.
Could you advise me of the best power option settings as it may be that I am entering in-appropriate hours (like tun off monitor after?
turn off hard discs after?) -so--
can you please give a sample set of settings that I can try?
Thank you for reading this and I eagerly await you response Joe.
I have a Medion laptop as well.....unfortunately, this is just a cheap battery. Mine can be fully charged, but will only last 30 minutes even if it's just sitting on the desktop. You can try changing your "performance" settings (hold your cursor over the battery icon in the taskbar, it should give you an option change "power plan"). Choose a lower power-consuming power plan (note, lower-power consuming plans won't let games, etc run right). But, ultimately I think you'll find it's just a bad battery that won't hold a full charge anymore.
