Not work the spekears

Your speakers probably stopped working if you can use your earphone to listen. The sound card/driver is working properly if you got sound. Use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to diagnose the problem. click on the Start button, type dxdiag in the Search box and then press enter. There's a tab for Sound, if there's no indication that the hardware/driver is not operable and you can perform the sound test, and get a passing result for sound then your speakers are definitely out.

Why is there no sound coming from my speakers?

If you hear no sound coming from your speakers, there could be several reasons:
1) Check to see if the speakers are powered on.
2) Check to see if the cable is plugged into the speakers and the green jack in the back of the computer.
3) Check to see if the speakers are muted in Windows. Do this by clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray. It has a place to check to mute the speakers.
4) Check to see if the sound devices and drivers are loaded. To do this go to the control panel and click on "sound." Then click on the sound tab. Choose one of the Windows events that has a sound associated with it and preview the sound by clicking on the arrow to the right of the listing. If the arrow is dark and when you click on it the sound seems to be playing, then the drivers and sound card should be functional. If the arrow is grayed out, then your sound drivers are not installed. In either case, try reinstalling the sound drivers.
5) If you've tried all this to no avail, try with another set of speakers.
6) One thing that may work is to do a system restore back to the time the speakers were working.
7) If nothing works, I would suspect that you have a bad sound card. Unfortunately, these days sound is integrated into the motherboard, but you could install an add-on sound card.
Can't get sound out of my speakers although sound registers as playing

Check that your computer isn't muted and the volume on the speakers is up. Check that the plug for the speakers is connected correctly. Check to see if the sound card that the speakers are plugged into is set as the default in the control panel. Is there any sound coming out of the front port (earphones). Try another set of speakers.

Hey, I've got an HP Compaq D530 SFF desktop machine whose sound card uses the SoundMAX drivers. The problem is that when I connect earphones/headphones on the front panel, and try to listen to music or...

if you go to the bios (restart computer and press del to go to setup) you should be able to look around and find the option for internal speaker. Set that option to disable and do not change anything else unless you know your way around. Save it and restart afterwards and it should disable the internal speakers.

Just purchased ASUS Essentio Desktop PC - model CM1630. Salesperson gave me the impression there are built in speakers, but I have yet been able to hear sound. HELP, please!

Base on the specification of the Asus Essentio CM1630, it doesn't have a built-in speaker for multimedia listening.

Mostly, built-in speakers that came with the computer are only for knowing the beep codes of your motherboard. To know if is it starting up or there are errors on your computer.

I would suggest getting a pair of speaker to easily resolve this issue.

You can also try to connect an earphone or headset to try if there is any problem with the sound card of your computer. Just connect any earphone or headset that you might have and see if you can hear any sound.

I can not hear sound what problem of this?

Several things must be in place to hear sounds on your pc.
You must have speakers - the kind you not only plug into your pc but you must also plug them into your wall to have a louder sound. OR --- you can use head phones. The headphones plug into your pc sound card.

You must have a sound card or onboard sound

You must have a sound card DRIVER.

These three things and some reading will get you going

Best of it

No sound

Check Control Panel SOUND and make sure non of the boxes ( advanced option) (More) are not muted and the volume and balance slides are up.
Put an earphone into the sound out port ( usually green) to see if the sound is there. Make sure the unit sees that it has a sound card installed. One of the best checks is to select a Wav to play. It is in this that you will find that if a sound card IS installed and you can hear the WAV then the problem is in an internal volume slide or incorrectly plugged up set of speakers

I upgraded the RAM in my HP Pavillion, a1010n, no sound

go to device manager and check if the sound drivers are installed or not. if they aren't try installing them. if they are then check for confilcts. if there are no conflicts, then the problem might come from the sound pots. try to use a microphone to speak and check if the voice streem signall you that there are entries of sound or not. if there are then the sound out port is damaged and you will need an adon card installed on it.

Want to switch from ad on audiqy sound card to system sound card

Remove the audigy card, then go into BIOS by pressing F2 during POST.

Look for onboard devices (or something smiliar and make sure that Audio is enabled) usually this is deisabled when addin card is put in.
