There is no sound, flashes one red light, stops after about 15 minuts and teels me that there is a problem.

Called Flash Codes. First try turning off everything at the breaker for at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. Turn back on and wait 15 minutes for self test to complete.

Sound like the original color wheel for Optoma HD80 is bad.

If the unit has been moved when hot.

If not, try un-plugging the unit for a few minutes and re-connect.

A continuous flashing red light with the word LAMP on it would definitely mean you're going to need to spend a few bucks on a new lamp....or for a few more, upgrade to a TV from this century that doesn't require lamp changes :)

television just flashes red and takes at least 15 minutes to turn on after turning off and on and makes a popping sound.

A flashing red light indicates that there's an error, or the batteries are defective.

No, the unit won't switch itself off once the batteries have been fully charged. The unit will start trickle charging instead.
