Hi

if your phone not connected properly means just check the connectivity settings in the settings of your mobile. if all are right means there will be some loose contact of the usb data cable.just try it in another system or kindly change the data cable of your mobile.if still any problem means just contact your service operator

actually if a blackberry went off completely,and still connect to pc that means there is still hope.All you need to do is that get a usb cable for your bb and connect it to your pc and see if there is any indicator that shows on your pc.if there is,then take it to a nearby mobile engineer to reload it for you.that is all

Need to email photos from blackberry to computer

1- Install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Software on your PC
2- Use the USB cable to connect the BB to you PC
3- Navigate to the BB (just like a USB stick) and you have a folder with all the pics in it.

the pin is also your secutiry code the blackberry desktop manager always asks for the pin

if you have assigned the pin type in your pin, but if you did not assign any pin 1234 is the default pin

it is not a hardware or a software issue it could be a problem with the UBS port on the handheld or on the laptop or it could be a problem with the USB cable.

Solution: First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

Desktop manager not recognising connection

Try uninstalling Desktop software.  Now reboot.  Install it again.  Reboot.  Now plug your phone in only after you have done this.  If that doesn't work, let me know and I will see what else I can do.
