Chances are there is a relay stuck on the control board.

I would contact Panasonic for their nearest authorized service center.

Panasonic Dimension 4 Turbo bake NN-A880WBBPQ Microwave Oven. Can I still get an instruction manual for it? It was my mums - a bit old but seems to work.

Question edited for clarity and add maker.

Panasonic and Sharp are the brand leaders in microwave ovens. The build quality in the old ones is outstanding. I owned a large one in a commercial pub kitchen reheating hundreds of thousands of meal items for 18 years and it never went wrong once!

This is the manual for the 883 model as a PDF file

https://www.mediafire.com/file/eulp6ogpd6nc3d8

There is nothing for your model, not even on the Panasonic website.

Panasonic dimension 4 microwave/convection oven Micvrowave part of oven not working, convection oven/grill fine. Is it a problem with the magnetron? Is there some form of internal fuse?

It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.
Make sure the !!!!capacitor is discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 on high resistance range for short circuit, the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.

Panasonic inverter dimension 4 microwave oven runs for 27 secs in micro mode then cuts out no heat either convection oven grill work fine ????

If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter or a bad magnetron.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.

I would recommend that you contact your nearest Panasonic-authorized servicer.

I have a panasonic dimension 4 turbo bake microwave model nn-a774sbbpq when switching on it runs for approx. 20 seconds and shuts off this time factor is always the same any ideas?

The uPC system is sensing a failure of some type. This could be that the magnetron is not emitting to specificaitions, or one of the power supplies are not operating in specs.

This is not something you can fix yourself. You will have to take the microwave oven to a service center to have an estimate for repair. If the unit is out of warranty, it may not be worth to service.

In case you get curious, I would never suggest for you to open the encosure of a microwave oven. There are very serious safety issues with working in this type of appliance.

Panasonic Dimension 4 Turbo Bake Microwave oven. Everything works except the microwave element. Why?

Your Magnatron is most likely to have failed, its an expensive part and on a turbo 4 could be 2M236-M42. Unfortunatly this appears to fail due to reduced air flow. So if you do replace it I would clean the rear grills completely to increase the airflow within the oven.
