Dap 1320 can't set it up using web browser link

These answers on all these sites are very confusing. Here's what I did to solve the issue of not connecting with a browser. 192.168.0.50 does not work nor does http://dlinkap.local. or whatever else is printed on the device. On my PC that is hard wired to my router, I logged into my router, checked which wireless devices were connected and found that dlinkap (note this is not the SSID that is printed on the device) was assigned 192.168.0.4. Set my browser to 192.168.0.4 and off we go to configure the extender.

Cannot access either dlinkap or 192.168.0.50 via web browser in order to set DAP-1522 up as a wireless bridge. My current internet provider is Verizon Fios using their router. Why can't I...

Maybe you have the wrong 192... Go command prompt and type in "ipconfig" without the quotes. scroll up and find the default gateway (default gate way . . . : 192...) and type that in your browser and press enter.
If that doesn't work, go to your network connections and right click on the one that is connected click properties, click on Internet Protocol Version 4, click properties, and make sure all the settings are automatic. Restart computer, repeat first part.
If that doesn't work, reset your router and access point. Than reconnect and repeat first part.

When i write hhtp://dlinkap on the explorer internet i have nothing

Hi i believe that you do have dlink access point device...
if the http://dlinkap doesn't work, try to asign STATIC IP to your computer

assign the following:
IP address:192.168.0.55
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.0.50

the try to access again the http://dlinkap or simply typein 192.168.0.50

and thats it you're now in the login page of the access point device.

hope this will help

Configuration dap 1150

You cannot configure the DLink by the URL address http://dlinkap?
You connect a LAN cable from your computer to the DLink.
Then open Internet Explorer and enter the URL http://192.168.0.1
the default login = admin
the PW is blank (just press Enter)
You can now configure the DLink.

401 Authorization Error when accessing a Web-based Utility

Getting the 401 Authorization Required error page means that you tried to access a Setup page and entered an invalid password three (3) times. To reset the password, the device must be reset to factory default settings. Resetting the device: 1. Hold in the Reset button (usually located on the front or back panel) for 30 seconds. 2. Unplug the power cord to the device and wait for 1 minute. 3. Plug the power cord back into the device. 4. This will restore the device's default settings, which includes a default password of admin. 5. You can now try to access the Setup page again. Accessing the Setup Page: Open a Web Browser (either Internet Explorer or Netscape). Type the IP Address of the device into the Address Bar and press [Enter]. 1. The User Name and Password Prompt will appear. 2. Leave the User Name Field blank. 3. Type in the Router?s Password, admin, (the default Password). 4. Click OK or press the [Enter] key. If the device was reset to factory settings, the password of admin should be valid and the Setup page should load. If not, repeat steps to reset the device.
