Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
unless your a competant electrician-electronics engineer.
Or had experience, with soldering connections to an electronic PCB. i,d recommend that you don,t attempt this.
The PS2 Mods, usually have around 19 plus individual wires to solder, with some very precise soldering work involved.
My suggestion for you, would be to look at purchasing a boot-cd.
if you search the internet, for an item called swap-magic.
this will enable you to play backup games, without the need for a mod-chip fitted. and also will not void any warranty/guarantee on your console. alternatively, is to take into a shop or professional to fit. estimated Cost will be around £70 UK. $150 US.
