Are you sure SETTING of your phone is activated?
With setting activated, take your phone to a hotspot - site where you have free Internet connection.

See if the wired connection is working or not. If the wired connection is working then I think you will need to check the wireless settings of the router and the laptop.

The wireless adapter in your ENGENIUS has connected to a wireless-router.
Depending on which router that has responded, the IP-address assigned by the router could be:
* 192.168.0.xxx
* 192.168.1.yyy
* 192.168.2.zzz
* 172.16.aaa.bbb
If the router to which the ENGENIUS has "associated" has _NO_ Internet connection, then you won't be able to access any web-sites.
You need to "dis-associate" from that router, and "associate" to a different router (one that DOES have an Internet connection).
