Re: programs don't work
If you have a lot of music files, pictures, large files, etc on your hard drive this will slow down your computer. If you have a good antivirus program you need to run it, because your system could be infected with a worm or virus. You might also want to look at how much RAM you have in your system and upgrade to more if you have any open slots for the modules on your motherboard. If you have a cd/dvd burner, burn those large files onto it I mentioned then delete them from your hard drive > use scan disk to check for errors and automatically fix them > then once that is done defrag your hard drive > Use msconfig in the run box, then go to your start up tab, uncheck anything that you do not absolutely need because when you start your system there are tons of programs running in the background and this takes up system resources. By unchecking them they will not automatically start running when you power your system on. Hope this helps and let me know if you need further assistance.

Are you running the autosetup program from a cd?
Click the start menu
Click the Computer icon on the right
Locate the optical drive icon under Removable Storage (it will probably be labelled Belkin)
Click the icon with the right mouse button and select Open from the list that appears
Now look for an icon labelled setup or something that has a belkin logo or something similar.
Click the icon with the right mouse button and select Run as Administrator from the list that appears. (if you cant find run as administrator then it is the wrong icon, try another.)
Does it work now?
If not, do you have a friend with a laptop that is running XP or Vista that you could borrow just to run the setup?
Maybe you have to reboot to get it on the desktop. Does the printer
work if you opened a document and tried to print to it? If not,
Is it in your program list? Click Start/Programs or Start/All Programs
and look for the Lexmark Folder. If it is there, then you can Right
Click on any item inside the folder and select Send To/Desktop (Create
Shortcut) to send it to the desktop.
Try looking in the program list for the program that starts the wireless. Click Start/Programs and look for the program that drives the wireless and open it.
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
Welcome to Fixya. You can try to run a compatibility on the software and see if this will run on your computer. Install the program then on the icon on your desktop can you please Right Click on the icon then click on Properties. Click on the Compatibility Tab, Put a check on run this on compatibility then select Windows Xp Sp2 and see if this will fix the issue. If this wont work it only means that Windows 7 is not supporting the software.
The .ink files are shortcuts.
If they have no icon, or the same icon then you deleted the programs. Try reinstalling them.
If not, don't worry, just launch you application by double clicking the .ink files.
If it doesn't work no worries, that's not a biggie and can be easily fixed in a couple of minutes. There are a couple of ways to do it, read both: Option 1:
- Go to Start -> "Control Panel" -> Click on Porgrams - Click on "Default Programs" - Click on "Associate a file type or protocol with a program." to open the "Set Associations" menu. - Scroll through the list of extensions to locate the .lnk file extension. The listing will show the description and the current default program associated with it. - Click on the extension (to select it) and then click on "Change Program." - Select the program you would like to open *.lnk file types. - Click on OK.
Option 2 (If Option1 fails):
Simply download following file, unzip it, and run it. It will make necessary changes to the registry. Restart the computer and it should be fine.http://www.winhelponline.com/fileasso/lnkfix_vista.zip
The web cam software should have a listing in you "all programs" folder off the start menu. click on start, program files or all programs and look in that list for your webcam make name. If you find the program icon, you can left click on it and look for "send", click on send and chose place shortcut on the desktop. Then you won't have to look for it next time.

right click your mouse over the icon and see what the program is.
or you can go to start settings control panel add/remove programs and see the list of installed software. (most installed programs have icons, others, such as java, won't).
double click any icon and the particular program will start. click on the red X in the upper right corner to close any program.
