SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Perhaps the server is setup with DHCP services enabled?

If it's a windows server, try going to control panel--administrative tools and look for DHCP server

If it's there open it, then right click the server's name and choose disable dhcp.

Then reboot the server and the desktop and see if that works.

also the server may have a static IP address that would need to be changed to dhcp

Windows server

Hello,

my suggestion is: without ADS, we cannot create a domain server(till 2003 server). because, ADS is only known as Server and also it is the primary record for a domain creation.

we can go for installing ADS, by two methods.

1. using "dcpromo" command

2. Go to Administrative tools on the control panel. we can see the manage your server wizard. work with this.

we can install some services later, like dns, dhcp, ris. but ADS is the primary part.

bye,

Active Directory in 2003 server

If active Directory is not in administrative tools then it is likely that the machine is not configrued as a domain controller. You will need to add this as a role through server manager. Once configured as a domain controller Active Directory will appear under admin tools

Dhcp in server 2003 in domain not working

Windows 2003 server supports DHCP. If you don't see in Administrative tool DHCP maybe the DHCP role is not enabled. You can add this role in "Manage your server". You don't need to reinstall win 2003 server.
Another way to access DHCP management tool is: in command prompt type mmc and then File> "Add remove snap-in" then "Add" and select DHCP.

Shut down services

If you are using Windows XP, follow these steps.

Open your Control Panel, click "Performance and Maintenance", and then go to "Administrative Tools". Go to "Local Security Policy".

Under 'Security Settings' -> 'Local Policies' -> 'Security Options', find "Shutdown: Allow System to be shut down without having to log on" and enable it.

That should take care of it.
