The fuse is usually located either between the door switches or on the floor of the oven behind the control panel.

If the fuse is good, it may be an open thermostat or thermal cutout (TCO) / thermal fuse on or near the magnetron or on top of the cavity / body of the oven.

If it goes dead for a while during or after cooking then comes back on, the magnetron is probably overheating and causing the magnetron thermostat to open.

Then when it cools, it closes the circuit and allows power through again.

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

If it goes dead or blows the breaker when you plug it in or open or close the door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switch mount.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical safety information and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

Could be just a fuse but probably the diode pack or magnetron.

No power checked outlet and power is on

HELLO.

This is the way out of the problem.

The outlet is on power, the power problem is from the microwave.

check on the back of the microvave to locate the fuse that control the supply of power to the microvave.

Change the fuse because it is unable to control power supply.

Then plug the microwave to the outlet.

Thanks .

Microwave/Convection just quit

Is this oven new? IF NOT HOW OLD?

Did you plug the oven into different outlets or try another appliance to make sure the outlets were working?

Sometimes two or more outlets can be on the same breaker, or on the same GFCI, and if either tripped, the oven of course would not work in either outlet, something to double check.

If it is new, of course take it back. If not and you prove you have power, there is a fuse in about every microwave I have ever looked in.

get the manual or download one, and it will tell you where to look for the fuse, it is common for a fuse to blow in these ovens, so more searching is needed before the next step.
